Desert running not sure how they do it. I find it hard enough running an ultra in a temperate climate!
Beginning Friday, the Danville resident will compete in the Sahara 100K Challenge in Djerba, Tunisia. She was one of 150 invited to participate in the grueling four-day, 100-kilometer race marked by unpredictable weather conditions and snake-infested rough terrain and quick turnarounds.
