Pam Reed legendary ultra runner has published a book called “The Extra Mile” looks like an interesting read. She reveals this disheartening information:

Tucson’s extreme ultra runner says in her first book venture that someone once wanted her to undergo chromosome testing after she had just won the overall title in the 2002 Badwater Ultramarathon. Having given birth to three sons by that time sort of killed that theory, Reed writes in “The Extra Mile,” co-authored by her agent Stephany Evans.
