Great Gift Ideas for Trail Runners

December 15th, 2006 · No Comments

With this weekend being the last shopping weekend before Xmas, I thought I would make some suggestions for gift ideas that any trailer runner should be very happy with.
1) Garmin Forerunner 305.

This seems to be the gadget of the year for trail runners. The technology has advanced by leaps and bounds over the last 2 years. With graphing, mapping and heart rate monitoring functions this is a must have for trail runners. The Garmin 305 usually sells for around $390.00 Garmin website Garmin Forerunner 305

2) Atlas Run Snowshoes

How can a trail runner get a trail running fix when the trails are covered in snow? Snowshoes. The new snowshoes are light weight and meant for running. I recently picked up a pair of Atlas Run snowshoes which I highly recommend, they are very light and the Spring Loaded System gives you amazing control in uneven terrain. Retails for around $200.00 Atlas Snowshoes site
