Check out HikeAlberta.com!

For those living in Alberta or planning on visiting Alberta to do some hiking you may want to check out HikeAlberta.com a new site I recently developed. The site currently includes a growing database of hikes which include detailed directions, descriptions, photos, and GPX tracks for download. The site also includes a blog on hiking. In the future(hopefully after this weekend) the site will host a forum so hikers in Alberta can plan outings, sell gear and discuss conditions. I also plan on doing more GPX / Google Map integration on site instead of linking to Everytrail.com.

I was recently in Alberta on a mini vacation and banged of a few great hike/snowshoes, Alberta is a VERY beautiful place definitely check it out if you have never been there.

Great post and great blog. I enjoyed reading through all the posts to see what’s going on elsewhere in the world of running and so forth.

If you get a chance, please visit my running web site, Faithful Soles. I have a categorized and searchable Running Blog Database on there and would appreciate it if you would link your blog to it. I also have my own blog, but most of my information is on the main web site. Thanks and continued good luck in your training.
