Jason Dorgan runs the 1,079-mile Ice Age Trail in 23 days

June 21st, 2007 by Scott · No Comments

Dean Karnazes has nothing on Jason Dorgan this guy is amazing. I honestly have no idea how these guys can do it I can’t even handle a 100k a week!

Dorgan took his first step at Interstate State Park near St. Croix Falls in northwestern Wisconsin, on the Minnesota border, on April 14. He took the last step of his odyssey in Potawatomi State Park, near Sturgeon Bay, on the shores of Green Bay.

In between, he traversed the entire 1,079-mile path of the Ice Age Trail, something few people have done. And he did it in 23 days, quicker than anyone could have imagined. To break it down, that is the equivalent of almost two marathons per day, for a little more than three weeks straight.
