I am accumulating my “fast packing gear” just got a wicked pack I HIGHLY recommend it. It’s the Gregory Z55 it was the first pack to get a 5 star rating from Backpacker Magazine and was rated gear of the year (2007) from Outside Magazine. It’s quite amazing how packs have evolved since my last multi-day pack purchase over 10 years ago.
Anyways I am itching to do some fast and light multi-day stuff this summer. Does anyone have a recommends for multi-days in the Pacific North West (BC-Washington-Oregon) region?
Routes I have come across so far:
Sunshine coast trail (180km)

West Coast Trail (75km)

Juan De Fuca (50km)

You might look into the 40-mile Timberline trail around Mt Hood (I think part of the trail is closed at the moment).

To go further south, and a bit longer, you could check out this Three Sisters loop:

Have fun, wherever you end up going!
