Jonathan Wyatt dominates World Long Distance Mountain Running Challenge

This is not much of a suprise but über mountain runner Jonathan Wyatt wins the World Long Distance Mountain Running Challenge.

4200 athletes from 50 different participated in the race that goes from Interlaken, Switzerland traveling 42km to the Kleine Scheidegg 1839m above the town.

Wyatt thus becomes the first mountain runner to win both short distance (World Trophy) and long distance (Challenge) titles.

Anita Hakenstad Evertsen of Norway won the womens’s race defeating Elina Kaledina 2nd and Jeanna Malkova 3rd of Russia.
