Uli Steidl and Lizzie Hawker Win The North Face Endurance Challenge

December 2nd, 2007 · No Comments

Well I said Uli would be tough to beat in the final race of the The North Face Endurance Challenge Series and he was according to Scott Dunlap’s post Uli Steidl and Matt Carpenter raced toe-to-toe for 44 miles until Uli dropped the hammer. This was a well deserved $10,000.00 payday for this amazing runner. Lizzy Walker from the UK took first place also well deserving of the 10k for women’s first, from the sounds of it she had a serious bail but battled through.

I hope The North Face updates their race page so I can see the full results… it amazes me how such a big company can market the crap out of this event in all the outdoor magazines etc but they can’t build a descent race web page.

Update great race report from Uli Steidl
